ILNP continues to be one of my favorite indie nail polish brands. I picked up a few colors over their Black Friday sale last year and was very happy with all of them. Here are Fired Up, Summer Lovin’, and Christmas Cookie.
Fired Up is one of ILNP’s Color Kissed Ultra Holo polishes and is sort of a shimmery pale gold or champagne overall, with a orange-to-green flash and packed with fine holographic particles. It’s still somewhat sheer at two coats, but I liked it that way. I’m not sure how it builds up with additional coats, but ILNP says it’s fully opaque in 2-3 coats. No problems at all with the formula or application.
Summer Lovin’ is from the Summer 2019 Summer Feels collection and is described as a pastel teal holographic. I don’t know if it’s just the pink flash that the polish has, but it seems to read as an icy teal to icy periwinkle to me, overall. This was my first color for December, and I loved it as a winter color! Great formula, and like Fired Up, it’s opaque enough for me at two coats, but I wouldn’t call it fully opaque.
Christmas Cookie is from the Winter 2019 Snowed In collection, and it’s adorable, with a white crelly base and tiny green and red glitters that look just like those colored sugars you might sprinkle on a frosted sugar cookie. Just looking at it makes me hungry. Anyway, the formula is great, and this one is fully opaque in two coats.
All three colors had great durability and easily lasted about a week each on me! I used KBShimmer Nail Strengthener as my base coat and KBShimmer Clearly on Top as my top coat for each of these.
